Perched along a narrow mountain ridge, the Carao restaurant commands one of Mandarina’s most outstanding ocean view experiences.  Here, guests are transported above the jungle canopy where they can absorb incredible panoramic views while lounging poolside, enjoying a cocktail at the bar, or dining inside amongst friends.  

Responsibilities: I developed and modelled the beautifully exposed interior wooden structure and assisted with the design of the exterior lounge and pool areas.

Carao Restaurant is part of the larger Mandarina, One & Only resort along the Pacific coast of Nayarit, Mexico. It is perched along a narrow mountain ridge with commanding views of the Pacific ocean and surrounding jungle covered hills.
